Here is a review for „I can‘t stop eating“ by Sarah Dosanjh

Are you looking for a book that will make you feel beautiful, brave and like you can forever control the way you eat?

Well, this is NOT it!

Are you looking to understand how the mind of a (food) Addict works? If yes, this book will give you some insights.

I remember reading about the author wishing she would get sick in order to loose some weight and I thought: „ Hey, I also used to dream about that“.

The book offers a revolutionary method to stop binging and start eating „ properly“: The RALIC Method. (Disclaimer: I had to open the book and look for the name and the meaning. 🙄)

Did this method change my life? Nope.

Did this method make me never binge? Nope.

Do I use this method? Nope. At least not like it is described in the book.

Do I think about the book and what I learned from it? YES!!!

Most of the learnings from the book are „just“ common sense: think about what you are eating, think while eating, don‘t eat on autopilot, enjoy your food! But, when you grew up fearing food and everything related to it, when you hid your entire life in food and from food, these advices are what you need to start reevaluating your relation with food and slowly start to enjoy it!

Happy reading my dear community sisters!
