Since there is a lot of interest for a camping trip together, I am posting a few more info and suggestion for dates.

We can either bring our own tent or stay in a tepee (fits 8 people).  

We can get there with the regional train to Prien at Chiemsee + short boat ride over the lake.

This is not a community sponsored event so we will need to cover for the train and stay ourselves. here the the prices for the camping:

Here are the suggested dates, sounded like weekend was better for most people: 

24-25 August 

7-8 September 

The idea to stay one night, but if you are interested in a longer stay please comment, I would love to stay two but know it’s not possible for everybody.

What will we do once we are there? 

We can have a grill and chat around the fire, swim, walk, contemplate nature 💚
