How to help loved ones in a mental health crisis

Love the advice in this article: https://www.mind24-7.com/blog/13-ways-to-help-a-friend-or-family-member-through-a-mental-health-crisis/

For me, I appreciate the support that helps me take care of basic needs - meals, grocery shopping, household cleaning, meeting for walks, getting out into nature, playing games (and all of the stuff we do in our community of course). Christine V sent me flowers once and it was the sweetest thing and uplifted my spirits so much 💞 The thought that someone cared about me so much and made the effort to send me flowers was sooooo comforting 🫂

I rarely want to talk about my crisis because I have a therapist and talking about it again and again rarely helps me.

Feel free to share what support you appreciate when you’re going through a tough phase 🫂🫂🫂

oh so true what you said about developing a trustworthy connection… personally, I also still need to work on the belief/trust that I actually deserve support so that I won‘t feel guilty/weird/unworthy when someone actually offers support. that part is on me 🙈
