There are beautiful gifts in our community that we give each other and receive from each other.
In a world that often doesn't understand the weight and impact of what we've been through, we always have each other in our community to turn to. Our community is a safe space where we can show up and find others who understand.
Our community has blessed us with the gift of being seen and understood.
Together, we’ve created a haven where we can show up as 100% of who we are. Not only as the person who fulfils a career or a role as a partner, mother, daughter, or sister.
Our community has blessed us with the gift of belonging and being accepted for ALL of who we are.
In moments when we may feel uncomfortable in our community, we are always assured of a safe space to express our feelings. These moments encourage us to be vulnerable and can deepen our bonds.
Our community has blessed us with the gift of safe and healthy connection.
I genuinely believe that when we open ourselves up to give and receive the gifts of our community, it reflects love within each of us. And when we open ourselves up to embrace this love…wow
Why not take a moment with me right now and pause for a minute…feel and embrace this love by reflecting on the times when you felt safe, seen, understood and accepted in our community. Beautiful, isn’t it?

PS. I’ve used the phrase “our community” repeatedly in this email. I want to ensure everyone understands the meaning because people often refer to the community as mine or think of the community as an organisation. But I have never seen it that way. Here is how I see it and ask you to please see it, too: Our community would not exist without each other. So, our community is every one of us coming together to give and receive these beautiful gifts.
