This space is rooted in the belief that storytelling is medicine.
Medicine for the intellect, yes that too but over all for the nervous system, the soul, the body, and the spirit. Stories shape how we understand ourselves and the world, and reclaiming them together can be deeply nourishing, grounding, and empowering.
“We Are Rising Voices” is an invitation to:
• come together in connection rather than performance
• challenge dominant and colonial narratives in literature and storytelling
