Let’s learn and practice breath work together! Breath work practices help to reduce anxiety, regulate emotions, reduce blood pressure, release stress, aid deep sleep, increase mental focus and clarity and much more. Jeanne Surmont, trauma and art therapist and our community advisor is our teacher.

About the event
Breath work has recently become trendy but it’s been part of African, Asian and South American cultures since the beginning of time! Jeanne will guide us through a meditation to start and then show us and lead us through a breath work practice. The class is free for those of us that are not working or low income and donation based for the employed.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure we can start on time. If you are running late please be sure to let us know but we will need to start without those that are late. And please wait outside if you are late since the first part of the session is a meditation and this cannot be interrupted.
