Exploring Whiteness Somatically

A facilitated somatic workshop for our white bodied community sisters to explore how what whiteness is and how it lives in the body.

Beginning with nervous system awareness, we will enable a space of care to move with the shame, guilt, defensiveness, denial and other possible emotions when it comes to speaking about privilege, systems of oppression or discrimination. We expand our capacities to remain present to the impacts of white supremacy on our lives and especially on racialized bodies. This space supports embodied responsibility, reflection, and getting to know anti-racism as a life-long practice.

After our on-site workshop, you are invited to join three online calls to continue deepening into the practices and understandings.
